Heather joins Cholla Medical Group after completing her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at the University of Washington in Seattle and is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Northern British Columbia in 2007.

Her 15 years of emergency and critical care nursing experience in hospitals across Canada and the US have given her a unique perspective on preventative health care and the importance of exceptional primary care.

She looks forward to partnering with patients and families to optimize health through the management of chronic illness, health care maintenance and support of acute illnesses. By fostering a strong and open patient-provider relationship she aims to support patient’s long-term health care goals.

Outside of her NP practice, Heather enjoys being active with her husband and daughter in the gorgeous Arizona sunshine, cooking and traveling. A true Canadian, she loves to watch hockey and is looking forward to playing here in the Valley.
